Penny has developed various short stories with a local writing group; her story “The Psychic Plumber” was published by Penny Shorts (now Fiction Junkies).

Writing a play inspired by her family’s experience of addiction has been cathartic. “Behind Every Addict there’s a Family” is currently in development with a merry band of actors.

She is currently working on a memoir covering the same material as this play.

Her latest play “Veganuary” – written for radio – is a venture into comedy.

Penny has three adult children. She lives in the countryside with her husband and two cats. She loves walking and taking part in Murder Mystery plays performed by her local drama group, the Thame Players.
